Evil hacky GCC tool-chain buildscripts released.

Not strictly Open2x related but as I am storing the scripts in CVS I guess it was worth a small update. Don't use these scripts unless you really know what you are doing, you would be better to wait a little while for some pre-made tool-chains with things like SDL already bolted on.

More information can be found here.

  • Why stuff in http://www.distant-earth.com/gp2x/ not appear here? I think it must appear because that stuff is from the Open2X project.

This project is mentioned to Gamepark Holdings? It could be very interesting because they could support the project ;)

  • Dear Afraid,

Project Log: Random GP2X hacking is one of my own sites and is a general area for me to posts things of interest I find in connection with the GP2X.

The Open2x project has specific areas that are relevant to the project, sometimes information is relevant to both sites (for example in the case of the build scripts) and I will post it on one site and link to the other but not always.

GamePark Holdings are aware of the project and I am in some early discussions with them about them releasing some source code for there Linux kernel changes to the project.

  • Well, they're legally obligated to do so.

  • Looking forward to the prebuilt binaries for Linux i686 so I can develop a bit more easily. Keep it up, DJ.

  • Dead project? It could be very interesting if changing this blog to a real page for a project (look at pages like hydranode.com). What about asking for help in the page? It could be a nice start :)
